Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those search entries. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services create normal server logs, such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps operate and maintain the service. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use this information to run the service, address technical issues, measure broad traffic patterns, and improve the reference. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual visitors.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Arlington, Massachusetts, or federal record sources, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. The destination service controls information submitted there under its own policy. That includes sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data a website keeps. Massachusetts public records, including records subject to M.G.L. c.66 ยง10, are held by their custodians and are outside our control. Because we retain very little, a request normally involves the contact mailbox and relevant server logs. Use the Contact page; send a public-record correction or removal request to the responsible Arlington, Middlesex South, or Massachusetts office.
Updates to This Policy
We will post a revised policy here when it changes. Continued use after publication means you accept the revised policy.
